Irish Independent: 30 under 30: Meet the best and brightest young Irish entrepreneurs

New Frontiers participant & LIT Student feature among the 30 under 30.

Aoife McNamara, an LSAD graduate and a current New Frontiers participant at the Hartnett Centre. Aoife was also named in the Irish top 30 under 30 list. Founded in 2019, they are a luxury slow-fashion brand with a vision of empowering women through unique garments made consciously in Ireland and designed to last a lifetime of experiences. Their mission is to promote fashion that is at peace with the planet. Aoife has an innovation hub and store based in Adare, Co Limerick. This ethical award-winning designer and young entrepreneur has already grown her team to 3 employees and 4 interns as she continues her journey supported by LIT New Frontiers.

Jack Cotter, LIT Engineering Student and Entrepreneur supported through the LIT Enterprise & Innovation office was named in the Irish Independent 30 under 30 together with his brother Nick Cotter, co-founders of The Cotter Bros. They have a number of products in the market in the Agrifood and Agritech sector. Cotter Organic Lamb, Cotter Firewood and The Cotter Crate which won the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Award last year at the Ploughing Championship, the EI Student Entrepreneur Award for Innovation (Sponsored by the LEO) and The Engineers Ireland Student Innovation Award.
